’18 Pages’ Twitter Talk: Offers a ‘Decent Watch’

Nikhil Siddharth has been making good strides in her career with his prudent choice of scripts. After scoring the biggest hit in his career with Karthikeya 2, Nikhil is offering a romantic thriller with his next outing ’18 Pages’ which is hitting the screens this Friday.

As we await for a full review, here is the opinion of moviegoers gleaned from Twitter after the overseas premieres. 18 Pages is propelled by the emotional performances of the lead pair and offers a decent watch despite having a lot of lag in its narration. The unique plot point piques the curiousity of viewers but the director failed to narrate it in an engaging way. The first half passes muster and the second half is so-so to make it an overall above average fare.

Nikhil’s performance is getting good response and Anupama Parameshwaran’s cute screen presence is another positive aspect for the film. The biggest takeaway for the film is Gopi Sundar’s impressive score. Overall, 18 Pages will connect with youth audiences to some extent and perform well in A centres.
