Rishab Shetty’s Kantara is currently going places. The Kannada film was released in other regional languages and has become a very big hit at the box office. The actor is busy promoting the film as it is still generating good revenue across South India. Interestingly, there is a debate on social media among the fans that the film also deserves an Oscar as it represents the true nature of our country which is culturally high.
Rishab Shetty is more inclined towards the film’s success that comes in the form of appreciation from the audiences and fans. He is not very concerned or bothered about everything else that surrounds his movie.
“I don’t react to the demand that the film should get an Oscar. I just saw the 25000 tweets about that. It makes me happy. At the same time, I do not want to comment. I did not work for the success but I worked for work. That’s all,” said Rishab in a polite manner.
Rishab Shetty made it very clear that he works to satisfy the passion that lies within himself but not with an intention to get awards and reawards.
