World-renowned filmmaker Christopher Nolan is known for his incredible skill of presenting a marvellous film with his impeccable writing & making. His last film ‘Tenet’ was the first major Hollywood film to reach cinematically across the globe in all the theatres and has become a success.
Post ‘Tenet’, Nolan announced that he shall be collaborating with Cillian Murphy for a biopic on the creator of the atom, J. Robert Oppenheimer, often credited as the “father of the atomic bomb”.
Without any prior announcement, the trailer was dropped by the officials yesterday. The trailer begins with the contemplation of the narrator, Oppenheimer on trusting the imagination of humans in understanding the invention of something that is so destructive and powerful, but left nothing but hope with no choice.
Based on the book ‘American Prometheus’ by Kai Bird, the film also stars Martin J. Sherwin. Emily Blunt, Robert Downey Jr., Matt Damon, Rami Malek, Florence Pugh, Benny Safdie, Michael Angarano, Josh Hartnett, and Kenneth Branagh.
Nolan also gave an official statement that rather than using computer-generated graphics environments, Nolan used real explosives to recreate the Trinity nuclear test. The film is scheduled to be released on July 21, 2023
