Shah Rukh gives an epic reply to the people who spread negativity on social media

Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film Pathaan is the latest victim of the Boycott gang. After the likes of Laal Singh Chaddha, Liger and Brahmastra, Pathaan is now facing the heat of a section of people. They alleged that Deepika Padukone’s costumes in the Besharam Rang song hurt the religious sentiments of Hindus.
Until now, Pathaan’s team hasn’t responded to these boycott trends. Finally, Shah Rukh himself spoke up on the issue. He was at the inaugural ceremony of the 28th International Kolkata Film Festival on Thursday. Speaking at the event, he said that negativity on social media will not impact him and he continues to remain positive.
Shah Rukh said that social media is often driven by a certain narrowness of views that limits human nature to a baser self. “I read somewhere that negativity increases social media consumption. Such pursuits enclose collective narrative making it divisive & destructive,” said Shah Rukh. He added that no matter what the world does, he always remains positive.
This is Shah Rukh indirectly answered the Boycott gang with this statement. Meanwhile, his fans are hoping that SRK scores a big success with Pathaan. Directed by Siddharth Anand, this movie is set for a grand release on January 25.
