Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ First Look : Violent and Intense

Highly talented Telugu director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who earlier delivered hard-hitting romantic dramas like ‘Arjun Reddy’ and ‘Kabir Singh’, teamed up with Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor for a crime thriller titled Animal. The heady combination of Sandeep and Ranbir is one of the reasons why this film garnered attention all over the country. Now, the makers of Animal unveiled the first look poster on December 31st as a New Year treat and it features the Brahmastra actor in a violent and fierce avatar with an intense glare while smoking a cigar. He holds an axe with blood stains at its tip.

Ranbir is seen sporting a thick beard with injuries all over his shoulder and face. He bulked up his physique for this demanding role and packed a punch with his phenomenal transformation. Going by this savage first-look poster, Animal is likely to be another brutal attempt by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The film features Pushpa fame Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead and Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles.

The shooting formalities of Animal are progressing at a brisk pace and the makers have already announced that the film will hit the screens on August 11th next year. Harshavardhan Rameshwar is rendering the soundtrack and Siddharth Garima is providing the story and screenplay for this film. T-Series, Bhadrakali Pictures, and Cine 1 Studios are jointly bankrolling this film.
