Nora Fatehi files defamation on Jacqueline

Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi filed a defamation case in a court against her co-actor Jacqueline Fernandez, alleging that the actress made defamatory allegations against her, which is affecting her career.
Nora Fatehi(petitioner) claims that as they both are working in the same industry, Fernandez in order to destroy her career has made many allegations, which are absolutely unrelated to her.
The petitioner claims that “My rapid growth in my career has turned as threatening to my rivals and as result, they were unable to compete fairly, which lead them to make false statements on me. This sort of allegation is tarnishing my reputation and as result, I am losing offers.”
Jacqueline Fernandez and Nora Fatehi were probed by Enforcement Directorate in Rs 200 Cr money-laundering case related to conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar. Jacqueline named Nora Fatehi and revealed that she also received some expensive gifts from the conman. ED has recorded her statement on this, and Fatehi has denied the allegations. Now, she took a step ahead and filed a defamation case against Jacqueline.
