Critically acclaimed filmmaker R. Balki, who directed award-winning films like Cheeni Kum, Paa and Pad Man, is coming up with a hard-hitting psychological crime thriller starring Bollywood hero Sunny Deol and South heartthrob Dulquer Salmaan.

Chup is slated for release this Friday but the makers have come up with a first-of-its-kind and innovative promotional strategy to screen free shows in select cities. The strategy seems to have reaped rich benefits as the free screening received a thumping response from the audience.

Going by the Twitter reviews after the free screenings, it appears like R. Balki has hit the ball out of the park with Chup. The talk is very promising and encouraging from moviegoers. It is said that Chup is an engaging attempt handled with brutal honesty and sincerity. It is rated as one of the best thrillers in recent times with a good dose of intrigue and suspense factor from the onset.
