Naga Chaitanya opens up and discloses why he rejected Bollywood films

Naga Chaitanya, son of the Telugu film star Nagarjuna, will give his debut film in Hollywood with actor Aamir Khan in the film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. He is the work of promoting the movie. The movie is the remake of the Hollywood film ‘Forrest Gump’ starring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan.

In this connection, when answering a question about his debut, Naga Chaitanya was sharing his experiences of working with Aamir Khan in the film. He then revealed that he had been deliberately rejecting Hindi films for several years. He said that “I grew up in Chennai and later I shifted to Hyderabad. So my Hindi is not very good. I feel very insecure about that for a very long time. That’s the reason why I have shied away sometimes from Hindi films whenever I got an offer. When I told people that my Hindi was like ‘South Indian’ people, people thought twice.”

He also opened up about his consent to work in Laal Singh Chaddha ‘When I got an offer to work in Laal Singh Chaddha, I clearly stated that my Hindi is not that good. Aamir sir said that he had no problem with this because he was looking for a South Indian boy character for this movie and later he moves to the north. In fact, they wanted me to be a South Indian in the way I speak. While speaking Hindi, I speak some Telugu words in between which we added to bring a Telugu tang’.
