The Tollywood industry is betting big for this Dasara and a series of projects are announced for release. The newly introduced ticket prices GO along with the 50% occupancy is leaving the producers worried. The wave of coronavirus calmed down but the makers are not completely confident on releasing their films. Naga Chaitanya’s Love Story is going to have a theatrical release next week. The film is going to decide the potential of revenue for the Telugu states. The ticket price restrictions in Andhra Pradesh is still a chunk for the distributors and they are not able to pool out the promised amounts which are leaving a dent in the profits for the producers.

Gopichand’s Seetimar disappointed at the box office after a flying start. The 50% theatre occupancy in AP is a huge hurdle. After the first wave of coronavirus, the audience walked into theatres with no fear of coronavirus. But the situations are uncertain after the second wave and Tollywood waiting for things to return to normalcy. Republic, Kondapolam, Most Eligible Bachelor, Drishyam 2, Maha Samudram, Varudu Kaavalenu and Rowdy Boys are the films that are aimed for Dasara release. If Love Story opens with a bang and rakes massive money, there would be a bunch of releases during the season.
