Arun Adith who made his debut as a promising hero opposite Genelia with ‘Katha’ movie has been making efforts to establish himself as hero for quite a long time, but luck has been evading him. He has been regularly doing movies and even playing small roles in big movies. May be to change his fate, he has changed his name to Thrigun and came up with ‘Katha Kanchiki Manam Intiki (KKMI) movie’. Can the changing of his name change his fate?

Diving into the story of ‘Katha kanchiki manam Intiki..’ Prem (Thrigun) is a good for nothing fellow who dreams of living life as his grand father who was known for his playboy ways. He goes to any extent to achieve this aim. In the process he encounters Deeksha (Poojitha Ponnada) who is a betting freak. She does anything to win a bet. While the lives of Prem and Deeksha go on like this, they also encounter couple of other peculiar people in their lives. Dongesh (Get up Srinu) is a dumb but good hearted thief. Instead of looting the homes, in return he gives his own money to the residents of the home, after listening to their problems. On the other side Nandi (RJ Hemanth) dreams of becoming a script writer and earn money through movies. These four peculiar characters unexpectedly encounter each other in a burial ground. What follows next is what ‘Katha kanchiki manam Intiki’ is all about.

One of these Bollywood beauties will ignite fire with Allu Arjun in Pushpa 2

Katha kanchiki…is a horror comedy and it appears director Chanakya Chinna has tried to make interesting with quirky characters. But instead of turing interesting, the characterisations of lead actors and supporting cast has ruined the whole process. Both the lead actors characters are degraded. Even popular actors like Mahesh Manjrekar, Vinod Kumar and Saptagiri appear in the movie but have no convincing characters.

Besides horror comedy angle, there is also thought provoking angle about orphanages in the movie. But the director could not fit it aptly in the movie. Katha Kanchiki… falters in both story and narration. Audience will get a feeling of watching a routine and farcical far. Only saving grace is at some moments the dialogues written by Srinivas Teja are good. If the director and writer would have shown the same focus on complete story and script it would have been better.

Music director Bheems Cicireleo has composed both songs and background score. In fact he is the only one who needs to be appreciated among all for this movie. Some songs and BGM are good. With no proper story and script to back all other technicians came up with the same level of work. While Chanakya Chinna directed this movie, Monish Prathipati produced it. No one will regret skipping this farcical fare.
