Kamal Hassan takes no break, resumes work

Universal Star Kamal Hassan is a true professional because he devotes most of his time to movies irrespective of their results. Age is not a bar for him in working nonstop without taking big breaks between his films. Having secured a huge blockbuster with his recent film Vikram: The Hit List, the Dasavataram actor is now gearing up for his next film.

As per reports, Kamal Hassan is in plans to revive his long-awaited film Indian 2, a sequel to his 1996 blockbuster vigilante action thriller Bharateeyudu ( Indian). This crazy project was announced in 2017 and the principal shooting commenced in 2019. However, due to budget issues and legal disputes, the shooting was stalled midway and both director Shankar and Kamal Hassan moved on to their next projects.

Now, the soaring box office success of Vikram in different languages has emboldened Kamal Hassan to revive Indian 2. He even convinced director Shankar to resume the shooting formalities very soon. As per the reports, Kamal flew to the USA to kick start the pre-production formalities of this much-anticipated sequel. Shankar is currently busy directing Ram Charan’s film which is likely to be wrapped up by October.
