The second installment of fun franchise by director Anil Ravipudi, which is titled as F3, is releasing today amid good expectations as the first chapter emerged as a runaway hit. The fun filled trailer has furthered the hype on the film.
Here is the Twitter report from early shows.
Just like the first installment, F3 is solely based on slapstick comedy sans any logic and depth in story. The entire first half revolves around the fun between Venky and Varun Tej and the lady gang. The comedy track involving Ali is one of the hilarious episodes in the film. Venkatesh with his inimitable comedy timing and mannerisms holds the first half despite not having any story and logic.
The second half of the film is a bit let down as the tempo slows down due to lackluster narration and the comedy scenes also appeal only in bits and pieces. There are laughs here and there with some illogical sequences. There are many references of recent big ticket films and imitations of top stars. There is an item song involving Pooja Hegde aimed to cater the masses. The film ends on a mediocre note with a comedy fight sequence.
Venky and Varun impress with their unique mannerisms thoroughly from the onset. Both Tamanna and Mehreen are confined to glamour show once again like the first installment. The music score by Devi Sri Prasad is decent and a couple of songs are appealing on screen. The production values by Dil Raju are adequate.
So, it looks like Anil Ravipudi has once again served a film which only works with the magic of comedy, glamour and dialogues without any logic and story.
