Tollywood Producer Dil Raju who is very good at picking scripts planned a grand entry for his Bollywood debut, but his first outing ‘Jersey’ featuring Shahid kapoor bombed badly at the box office. The original film directed by Goutham Tinnanuri even directed the remake which received poor reviews at the box office.
Dil Raju and his team expected massive openings for the film as it marks the immediate outing of Shahid Kapoor after Kabir Singh. But their confidence collapsed badly and the weekend numbers were also not upto the mark.
However, the makers Dil Raju, Allu Aravind, and Aman Gill recovered the film’s budget in the form of non-theatrical rights putting them together in a safer zone. With the bitter experience of Jersey, Dil Raju changed his plans to produce sports based films and now the ace producer is going to test his luck with HIT, a crime thriller that would be released later this year.
Soon after the release of F3, Dil Raju will produce F2 and Naandhi in Hindi to attract the North family audience and also grab the attention of common audience with the content based films and commercial entertainers.
