USA pre sales: ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ racing ahead of ‘Waltair Veerayya’

It is an undeniable fact that Megastar Chiranjeevi secures better openings than Nandamuri Balakrishna in overseas. The premiere show collections of their recent films are a testimony to this fact. But, Balakrishna is giving tough competition this time with his upcoming film Veera Simha Reddy which is locking horns with Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya during this Sankranti season.

The bookings for both these films in the USA are quite promising as they are poised to take a sensational start at the box office. As per the latest trend of pre-sales, Veera Simha Reddy is racing ahead of Waltair Veerayya with a considerable lead. As of now, as many as 3300 tickets have been sold for Veera Simha Reddy. The total gross is likely to be around $ 60K from 69 locations. 2200 tickets of Waltair Veerayya are sold so far with a gross of $ 40K from 62 locations. This is a very promising trend with still two weeks to go for release.

It is going to be an interesting box office tussle between both these actors who are taking it on a prestigious note. Both films are carrying solid buzz among moviegoers. While Veera Simha Reddy is set for release on January 12th, Waltair Veerayya will arrive on January 13th.
