Tollywood Box Office : Adivi Sesh’s Hit 2 performs well

2022 is undoubtedly the best year for talented Tollywood hero Adivi Sesh. He scored back-to-back hits this year. His patriotic drama ‘Major’ emerged as the career’s biggest hit after its release in May. Now, Sesh’s latest offering Hit 2 is on track to emerge as another decent hit of his career. The film collected impressive numbers in Telugu States and Overseas by the end of Sunday, thanks to positive word of mouth and unanimous reviews.

Hit 2 performed better than trade expectations in the first weekend and recovered more than 90 percent of its investment. In the Telugu States, the suspense thriller directed by Sailesh Kolanu grossed just over 17 Crores with a theatrical share of 10.51 Crores. The film collected a total gross of 26 Crores in three days worldwide. After embarking on a great start with 6.4 Crores share on Friday, the collections remained steady on Saturday and Sunday as it collected 4.5 Crores and 3.9 Crores respectively.

In the USA, Hit 2 clocked $ 800K by the end of the first weekend. After taking a strong opening with $ 240K from its Thursday premiers, the film performed on par on Friday and Saturday with $ 229K and $ 217K respectively. The film slowed down on Sunday but managed to gross over $ 100K. The film is expected to join the million-dollar club by the start of next weekend.
