Tollywood BO report : Dhamaka and 18 Pages ride on Christmas holiday

Telugu films Dhamaka and 18 Pages gained great momentum on the Christmas holiday to end their first weekend on a solid note. The Telugu version of Avatar: The Way of Water performed extremely well on its second weekend. Tamil dubbing films Connect and Laththi failed to make any noticeable impact in Telugu States.
Dhamaka had the best day of the weekend on Sunday with bigger numbers in all territories than the first two days. The film collected a total gross of around 27 Crores worldwide in its first three days. Despite mixed reports, Dhamaka managed to secure good collections due to Ravi Teja’s energetic performance and Sree Leela’s glamorous role. The film needs to hold well on Weekdays to emerge as a clean hit.
Nikhil Siddharth’s 18 Pages also performed strongly on Sunday. The romantic entertainer collected a total gross of 7 Crores in the first weekend. The film still needs a decent run on weekdays to ensure hit status.
Hollywood behemoth Avatar: The Way of Water has been going great guns in Telugu States. The film collected more than 66 Crores gross in ten days and marching towards the 100 Crore mark in its full run.
