Ravi Teja joins the elite club with Dhamaka

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja scored a clean hit in his career after a long time. His latest offering Dhamaka collected 100 Crores gross at the box office after its grand release on December 23rd. This is the first film of Ravi Teja to enter the elite 100 Crores club. Dhamaka is also the first film in his career to gross over $ 500K in USA.
Dhamaka took a solid opening on its first day due to the positive word of mouth and decent reviews. Despite routine narration and a regular story, the film managed to ride on Ravi Teja’s energetic performance and Sree Leela’s complementing act. The masala elements clicked well and impressed mass audiences. The film went on to have a solid first weekend and also held well during weekdays in all territories. By the end of the first week, Dhamaka secured hit status. Taking advantage of New Year, the film performed exceptionally well in the second weekend to emerge as a super hit at the box office.
Running successfully with decent occupancies in the second week, the film has now surpassed the 100 Crore mark making it the final box office hit of 2022. Dhamaka joined the likes of RRR, Bheemla Nayak, Sarkaruvaari Paata, Sitaraman and Karthikeya 2, Major, DJ Tillu, and Banggaraju which scored big at the ticket windows.
