Box office Report: Pakka Commercial fails to cash in

Tollywood Box Office is going through a dull phase. After Major and Vikram, no film that was released till the recent Friday managed to pull the audience to the theatres.
One film which is expected to end the lean phase at ticket windows is Gopichand starring Pakka Commercial, which hit the screens last Friday amid decent expectations. Director Maruthi’s films come with a minimum guarantee because of the entertainment factor. So, there is a good buzz on Pakka Commercial as the fun-filled trailers promised a full-length commercial package.
As Bunny Vas is the film’s producer, Pakka Commercial is expected to take a decent opening and hand over the career-best start for Gopichand. Unfortunately, the film started on a disappointing note with less than 3 Crores share on its first day.

With below-par reviews and poor word of mouth, Pakka Commercial is struggling hard in the first weekend. The Saturday collections are quite dismal with less than one crore share including all areas. The pre-sales for Sunday are very embarrassing. So, from Monday the film is likely to be a washout.
Despite having a solo release with no competition at the box office and also spending so much on the promotions, Pakka Commercial failed to cash in and is heading towards becoming a disaster.
