Box Office: KGF 2 achieves two major milestones this Sunday

Prasanth Neel directional and Yash starrer KGF 2 is having a dream run at the worldwide box office even after completing 10 days of its release. After taking possession of several opening day records in North India, the high voltage action drama continued its steady run in all major territories in the first week and collected mind blowing numbers. During its strong run in the second weekend, KGF 2 is achieving more milestones in India and overseas.

By Sunday noon shows, KGF 2 has stepped into the 300 Crore net Club and emerged as the 8th film of all time to join the elite list with its Hindi version collections in India. This is an astonishing feat that was previously achieved only by Baahubali 2 among South Indian films. If we consider the Hindi version collections all over the world, KGF 2 is the tenth film of all time to collect 300 Crores net. Baahubali 2 is the only film with more than 500 Crores net with its Hindi version.

After emerging as the fastest film to enter the 250 Crore net club in just 7 days, the Hindi version of KGF 2 reminded rock solid during the second weekend with 11.56 Crores net on Friday and 18.25 Crores net on Saturday. By Sunday noon shows, the film breached into the 300 crores club.

Meanwhile, the film is continuing its steady run in overseas as well. Including all versions, KGF 2 has collected more than 6 Million dollars in North America which is another major record for a South Indian film. Now, KGF 2 is only the fourth South film after Baahubali 2, Baahubali 1 and RRR to breach into the $ 6 Million club. This is seven fold of the collections registered by the first part of KGF.
