MS Raju one of the biggest producers of last decade who gave blockbusters like Manasantha Nuvve, Nuvvosthanante Nenoddantana, Varsham came up with an adult thriller, Dirty Hari, after a long hiatus. He wants to be able to give a theatrical big hit again as director and give his son, Sumanth Ashwin, a good break as an actor with 7 Days 6 Nights movie. Let’s discuss if he is able to fulfill his wish…

Plot:

His friend Kumara Mangalam (Rohan) minds only about enjoying life and he doesn’t feel bad about cheating. Both them go on a bachelor’s trip to Goa for their friend’s marriage. There Mangalam encourages Anand to pursue Ritika and he flirts with Ameya. What happens when Ameya finds about Mangalam? How will it affect Ritika – Anand? Watch the movie to know more …

Analysis:

When you decide to go on a trip, you choose the best possible destination that will help you rejuvenate and enjoy. When you go for a film, you want to be able to enjoy for 2 hours or 3 hours by forgetting your worries. While a trip needs more time, a film can do it in 3 hours time. Expense whise Trip costs more than a film visit unless you’re a family of 10 and only one person looks after the expenditure. Even then. in 99.999% cases trips will cost more than a theatre visit. Ee Nagaraniki Emayyindi can be classified has most popular boys “trip” film in Telugu, in recent years.

M.S. Raju took inspiration from this film and tried to add Korean relationship dramas twist to it. While youth wants such kind of relatively fresh concepts, you cannot make a film just to showcase bikini bodies and have some jingoistic takes. Filmmaking is more than that and “youthful” films are different from “adult” and “adult comedies”. This film doesn’t fit in any bracket.
